Seems like a well built product from Motorola. LED backlight of the Motorola is a bit over-the top, but is functional and not overly bright in the car at night.

Although cellguru doesn't list this charger for use with my Bold 9700 it has the correct mini-USB and power output and works fine. I keep it plugged in the center console and the long cord gives me plenty of slack to use the phone. And the price is right, too.

I bought a couple of different off-brand car chargers that broke or burned-out. I finally decided to stop being cheap and buy the OEM product, which is remarkably low-priced at cellguru. The Moto charger is well-built, looks good, and works perfectly. Don't waste your time with junk to save a couple of dollars, and just buy this unit. I got one for both cars for less than one Verizon charger.

Has a nice glow! Motorola decal section is actually see through glass with an emblem in the middle and the glow effect looks nice in the console. The cord is long and durable and the price charged for this in the store in retail packaging is ridiculous
